So, what is Adaptive Radiotherapy?
Cancers can change shape or shift position daily inside your body without notice or warning; potentially moving portions of the cancer out of the predetermined Radiation Target Zone on Day 2 (as shown). If your treatment machine does not have adaptive capabilities, the cancer doesn’t get all of the dose your physician prescribed.
